So much is written about behaviour management strategies so what can I offer you that’s different to help you improve children's behaviour?
Behaviour Bible is a highly recommended book offering strategies I use daily to successfully manage Year 2 to Year 8 pupils all of whom have severe social, emotional and behavioural difficulties (SEBD), either at risk of permanent exclusion or permanently excluded from mainstream schools - in fact displaying many of the behaviours evident in so many classrooms and schools today.
Behaviour Bible - described as ‘an ebook, a course, a manual’ teaching about managing children’s behaviour - all children, not just those currently with behaviour problems. Yes, you can. Much of the work I do to support schools is done remotely - by phone or email. When a situation is described, I use the strategies in Behaviour Bible to guide teachers, leading them to take control of difficult situations and preventing escalations. One support assistant, having followed the advice is now successfully leading a mainstream senior school science lesson, overcoming previously severe behaviour problems.
Did I always have these behaviour management skills?
Absolutely not - I had to learn these strategies and skills and want you to know that you can learn them as well.

Within the first half hour the 2 year 6 boys were fighting and one ended up with a big lump on his head after the other one had thrown a metal tin at him.
I hadn’t a clue what to do, and they knew it!!
The younger boy eventually said to me, ‘Do you want me to go for help?’
